Originally established for the 'mums of the studio', The Southern Sistars has developed into the largest choir at Southern Lights. The Sistars are a collective of women who are always ready to have a laugh, lots of fun, be a supportive ear and sing a tune. The Southern Sistars perform at community events (both locally and interstate) as well as competing in eisteddfods.

Southern Brothers is on Thursday nights 7:30pm - 8:30pm.
Suitable for male students aged 10 years and above!
The Southern Brothers are an audition based (free) initiative established by Director Danny Benn to encourage more young males to sing. The group has become a brotherhood for its members who come together to sing, talk and support one another. The Southern Brothers have competed in many competitions since it's inception as well as having performed in community events both locally & interstate and hold a strong reputation within the vocal community.
All teachers are Child Safe Accredited and Southern Lights have strict child-safe and anti-bullying policies.
At southern lights we believe that all of our students have the potential to be amazing contributors in our community. We work with individuals to overcome prejudice, build confidence and to allow their talents to shine.
Our teachers are registered singing teachers with the Australian National Association of Teachers of Singing

Little Lights is on Wednesday afternoons from 4:30pm - 5pm!
Suitable for children aged 3-6 years!
Songs are chosen based on the dynamic of the group with the aim of increasing the sense of friendship amongst the students taking into account developmental levels. Little Lights is a wonderful opportunity for young children to be introduced into the world of singing in a safe and supportive group environment.

Show Group is on Wednesday nights 6pm - 7pm.
Suitable for students aged 15 - 25 years!
Show Group is an elite vocal group with students required to audition to be a part of this specialised class where both performance and vocal skills are honed to a more advanced level. Show Group is often taken to outside venues where they perform and represent the Studio.
Student's will learn:
Shining Lights is on Monday nights 6pm - 6:45pm (Emma) as well as Fridays from 4:30pm - 5:15pm (Erin)
Suitable for children aged 6-12 years!
